Colonel Alex Simmons sat in her comfortable chair as the Troop Transport Dauntless Fury neared the warp point to the Golan System. Which would then allow her to use the warp point to go from the Golan System to the Indra System. She still couldn't believe it but FTL wasn't real. Shaking her head, she looked up towards the plot. She saw three other starships with her, two other troop transports Justice and Fury The ship escorting the troop transports was the heavy cruiser of the Hyperion class Agamemnon.
However the troop transport starships weren't as weak as they sounded it was more of the opposite. Each troop transport was a fortress unto itself. Each transport could hold up to 80,000 troops. And they were more heavily armored then a Heavy Cruiser. "Colonel , we're nearing the warp point to Golan." the navigator said from her seat. "Excellent, fire up the warp engine as we enter the field." Simmons said. She always hated this part anyways, as the starships neared the warp point they got clearance from the four forts standing guard near the warp point. A warp point had to be defended with space stations, mines and if one could afford it a naval presence. Then one after another the starships vanished before immediately reappearing in the Golan System.

As they got new readings on their screens they spotted three other naval convoys heading towards the warp point to the Indra system. They would reach the system before the day was over and tomorrow with any luck they'd be entering the Glaucus system.
