Infantry: Infantry is standard soldiers, who make up majority of the army, they usually find themselves in the front line fighting the enemy on their own grounds, and are the last to leave after the battle. The diffrence with the SDC is that they usually are sent behind enemy lines to fight.
Snipers: Highly trained marksman who operate in pairs while maintaining close visual contact with the enemy and engages targets from concealed positions or physical distances exceeding the detection capabilities of the enemy personnel, without being detected. These sniper teams operate independently, with little combat asset support from their parent units. The do however take orders from the platoon leader.
Radio Operator: Radio Operators is the contact in and out of the platoon, they call in air support, MEDEVAC and pick-up, when the troops need to get off the field. As well as relaying information to the headquarters. as well as relaying orders between officers and squads.
Corpsman (Medic)[/u]: The Corpsman is a useful addition to the infantry, they are picked during boot camp either because they shown skills during that course, or because of prior medical expertise. They can handle all from bullet wounds to dehydration, and stabilize soldiers until they can get to a field hospital.
Engineer: The Engineer's job is all from mechanical repairs to setting up temporary defenses, removing trenches, and placing & clearing mines, a great support when. They are trained along with basic Infantrymen though they carry an extended role on the battlefield, usually doing his job while they are in battle.
Demolitions Expert: The Demolition Expert's job is mostly controlled demolition during battle and in the field, they are trained in making major damage with explosives on the enemy, as well as using rockets to take out enemy tanks and bunkers.
Dropship Pilot [/u]: The Dropship pilot's job is to transport troopers from A to B when the mission requires so. They also make Air-support and have the heavy guns, along with picking-up wounded troopers and taking them to the field hospital after battles and during combat situations.
Starfury Pilot (space pilot): The Starfury Pilot's protects the starships in space, fighting the enemy and making reckon ahead of the fleet, as well as making sure that enemy combat ships doesn't get to the troopers, making the infantry's jobs easier, the pilots are trained in fighting in high speeds.
ISN Reporter The job of a reporter of the ISN is to record what is currently happening on the battlefields. The homefront depends on these reports to tell them of what happens to their loved ones. However this is not an easy job as it requires flexibility on the battlefield. Camera equipment are automated flying disc shaped machines. You control them. However your report will not be seen for 6-9 months due to communications with Sol due to the distance.
