The year is 3358 , Intergalactic Travel has been discovered so the former U.N. created and updated itself because we started colonizing what was once inhabitable and impossible to reach so a new government was created: The United Colonial Republic. Countries such as the United States still exist but as a member of the United Colonial Republic, it cannot however send up it's own military since all militaries of the Earth belong to the UCHD. However the countries of the Earth have their own militas that can only operate in their own country. Because of the expansion of the Human Race, with the universe being rapidly explored, and the military couldn't have army bases all across mankind's planets, a new kind of soldier was needed to get into a hot combat zone within a few days, conduct the mission and leave just as quickly. So the UCHD (United Colonies for Humanity's Defence is the military name of the UCR armed forces) created a special branch of soldiers that can rapidly drop into combat from space in to take care of anything High Command tells them too. That is the UCHD's SpecialDropCorps.
The Honored Brothers, part of the 32nd Special Drop Corps Regiment is one of the first established SDC companies. It is stationed on the Troop Transport Dauntless Fury.
The Dauntless Fury is lead by Captain Alexia Sololov.
They hit planet side primarily using drop pods and on the rare occasion that they don't go down that way they go down through Dropships.
Plot: General Jason Sneer a rouge Republican Army General has created the terrorist group known as the Anonoymous Resistance Movement. The ARM's goal is to destroy Human Corporation, humanity's only company that provides everything for the private sector-in essence they are the private sector- Sneer's wife before she passed worked for Human Corporation and while exploring a planet found a detailed map. The map is supposed to lead towards a portal that if opened could unleash some sort of beings. Sneer blinded by the death of his wife has vowed to find this portal and open it.
The newly found colony of New Saigon on VL-624 has recently gone silent. The government nor Human Corporation knows what happened. Why did the colony go silent? Did the colonists all die, was there an outbreak of some new disease or perhaps the ARM attacked them.
A underground structure was found recently on Mars. It was not built by humans, but if it wasn't then who built it? And why isn't Human Corporation allowing the government full access?
The answers to these questions may be more complex than anyone could ever fathom. These seemingly separate events are in fact connected and will have ripples throughout the Republic. Can the members of the 32nd Honored Brothers stop what is to come or will they fall at this task?
