There are many new sub plots beginning to brew in the pot. Coming in a few days (or weeks...ok before summer) We get to see more of who this man Victor Cachet is and his immediate family. The Ruins of Mars begins to spell trouble for some of Earth's oldest religions. The RIA (Republican Intelligence Agency) has a meeting with Trish on what was recorded in the night club and if it's even a real threat. Jorge's sister Isabella is asked out, but how does she feel about it?
The military is cut due to government mismanagement. And a ex SS soldier now a civilan discovers something that makes him question Human Corporation.
Don't go anywhere guys, it's going to get heavy!

Voting is here by officially closed. The topics chosen for homefront are:
In first place, more stories about the Inner colonies and Earth. Frankly I've been meaning to have more stories that occur here other then Mars and Earth.
In a multiple tie for second place are: To find out what was discovered on Mars, and Isabella, Jorge Silva's older sister police drama. I'm actually surprised that this came in second place, I was afraid that having a same sex character would be upsetting. I won't get into that too much, but it is a part of the story that I wish to tell. So for those of you wanting to see hard core action between Isabella and Cathrine.....sorry but it isn't going to be that kind of relationship. Yes it'll be romantic but not like those soap operas where everyone yells at one another when one character finds out that they were dating his/her twin instead. It's not going to get that romantic but only a little. They are very important for the third act. You'll like what I've got in store for these two...and James.
In another tie for third place are: To see what life was like before VL-624 went off line. This was actally came up on it's own out of the blue one night while reading about the Russian Crimean War strangely, I think because my book was stating about how before the war it described civie life in the region. I'm currently going for five main characters with a few supports, all leading up to the night that they are attacked by the Special clearance required to read this and not to let anything fester I do plan on one of the characters live that is mentioned. And the other item voted for third place was the drama within the human corporation's higher ups. And the government. This has actually been my favorite part of the story because I was inspired by many movies and books that deal with behind the scenes stuff that. You'll see the evolution of the corporation and the government...lets just say that it won't be good. Muhahaha.
I hope everyone enjoyed this voting poll. I will conduct a similar poll for the second act when we arrive to it.

An update on the storyline: 1. You will be able to interact with the colonists of New Saigon and learn about what has happened to them. The replies will be from the admin account. Example is as follows: Zhour asks Jennifer about why she came to the colony. Admin responds as Jennifer. 2. I've gotten PM's asking where the stories are about the Mars ruins. Rest assured the ruins will be visited again in the future. However due to the current outline we will not see the ruins again until other plot elements come together. 3. I've been asked repeatedly about if the government is similar to the U.S. or the U.K., the answer is both. The reason for this is because I wanted something that you as a reader would be able to see something familer. Yes, yes we will see more politics, hooray! 4. I've gotten asked about the storyline about the undercover RIA (Republican Intelligence Agent) agent. Well the sub plot fell through on my part because I was unable to incorporate it into the bigger storyline. So sadly it will not be finished. This does not mean the RIA will not be seen  I hope this answers all the questions from various members. |
