ooc: don't forget to read the rules on enemies.
Hobbar watched the feed that he got from the sniper. It looked as if the communications tower would be very hard to take. But what caught his eye was the other building near it, it looked to be some sort of command post. If they could neutralize that command post it'd really hurt the enemy in the town, on both sides. And the Republican Army would have an easier time trying to take their own side of the town. This was odd though, he expected there to be heavier resistance. Why wasn't there heavier resistance as they had seen in the past. Something was definatly off...but he couldn't think about that at the moment. "Vaio, wait one mike." Hobbar said and switched frequencies. "Kilo Actual, this is Kilo Two come in please." he said. "Kilo Actual go ahead." Hobbar walked around the shop. "Kilo Actual, Vaio shows that the communications facility is extremely fortified and could be hard to take. Advise an airstrike. Vaio has also spotted an enemy command post which is also heavily fortified, advise an airstrike over." he said.
Waiting only a few seconds he got a response. "Kilo Two continue to head towards the main objective. Kilo Actual will have to get instructions from command on this. Kilo Actual out." he said and Hobbar couldn't believe it. Why not just call in the airstrike anyways? "Vaio, this is Kilo Two. No go on the airstrike until confirmed by higher ups. Moving towards the bridge." He didn't like it but he had no choice, at least the rest of the company was moving towards the bridge as well.
"Platoon listen up. We're to head down towards the bridge. I'm setting up our route." He looked at his 3D map of the city and panned out from it. It seemed like Lima Company was almost to the Bridge while Mike was not that far behind now. Kilo was also starting to advance. He noticed that there were not many enemy held posistions between the outskirts of town and the bridge. Most of it was concentrated where the bridge was. A few buildings had been updated showing both the new CP and the communications building. Why not just call in an airstrike on the surrounding area and then move in. Zooming out further, he spotted that the 6th Divison on the other side of the town was almost at the bridge as well, with enemy positions dropping left and right. Something was just not right about this. Not at all.
Quickly he set up the route. "Alright people let's move it and get to that bridge ASAP. File formation." he told them and walked outside of the building and headed towards the bridge.

Reed was sitting down when the lieuteant told everyone to move out in a file formation. He had finally sat down on what looked like a old table before getting up again. This entire planet was something like out of a history book. The planet was supposed to be fully colonized twenty years eariler but had to be abandoned because Human Corp couldn't keep it with the economic recession. He didn't know the details but he did know that the ARM a few years ago had made this planet their base and had built some new buildings. But most of these were from the old settlers themselves. This building was barely completed it only had a concrete slab with premade wall.
Standing up he took one last look at this sad excuse for a building and walked on out with the platoon. Getting behind the other troopers with their weapons drawn was a little over hyped but it paid in case the enemy decided to ambush them. Walking slowly down that snow covered road was sort of scary because every time a sound was heard Christopher assumed it had been an enemy trooper. Slowly he walked down the street looking in every direction for an enemy......

Wei kept an eye out for any sign of movement when the lieutenant was talking to someone on the horn. It wasn't like he was expecting some kind of ambush, but better safe then sorry right? Well he was expecting something to happen..anything. Good thing that the air support took out that building, who knew how many enemy troops were inside it. But dying in a fire? That was probably one of the worst ways to die, burning alive, choking on smoke. He shook his head as the lieutenant said for everyone to move out. He put his rifle down and started to walk out into the street. Hmm a street was not more then just a mud filled path. How could anyone live in this town? All it was were buildings with just the most basic things like a wall an a roof. No heating, barely any glass windows that he could see.
Following the rest of the platoon they were going down a narrow street with very tight quarters. On either sides were buildings that were completly empty. On his HUD in the right hand corner was the map. It showed the entire town from what he could tell. Only a block left until they would come upon the concentrated ARM troops around the bridge. But why not be in the buildings right here? He could just guess what would happen, that once they did make it to the enemy it'd be hard to root them out of their posistion. But then again the map didn't state how many enemies were there in the area. He decided it'd be better not to think about this kind of stuff.
Wei continued to follow the platoon down the road and couldn't help but laugh a little. "Hey Staff Sergeant, do you think those ARM pricks are gonna surrender? If they do, we should take them back aboard the ship and see if they know where the general is."

"Ma'am we have a potential request for aircraft cover, Lima or Kilo or something" he stated for a moment. Her radio operator on the other end had no clue. "Which is it Sergeant?" her voice was even. If she provided air cover for the wrong group she was going to be up shit creek without a paddle. However, she had not gotten a launch request from an officer, yet. She however began to signal the ground fighters to get ready for launch. They knew it was a precaution just in case. Kirkwood prided herself on keeping the pilots fast and efficient. No one really cared if most of them were on an ego trip. Not that she could not handle it, but honestly right now was no time for their egos to get in the way of their jobs.
It was that moment that she heard Aldman in her ear, well at least he was good for something. With that she gave launch instructions to get some cover fire to Lima. If Lima did not want it, then they would have to just deal with it. "Lima, cover fire headed your way" well the least that she could do was give them a heads up about the incoming help before they all flipped out and thought they were seeing things. Never a dull moment, but right now she wanted to be back in the action. Once a fighter pilot, always a fighter pilot.

Silva leaned aganist the wall as the lieutenant was on the horn. Once again they'd have to find an entrenched enemy and kill them. The assault on the space port a few weeks had been good because it was a complete suprise to the enemy. They didn't prepare as well because the the SDC dropped when they least expected it. And ARM was no push over, they were comitted to killing as many people to get their point across: Human Corporation should be dismantled and split into multiple companies or suffer the consequences of a now two year terrorist campaign of terror. He had to be blunt, that the ARM didn't care how many civilans were killed, the more the better.
When Hobbar gave the orders to begin moving out, Silva shouted. "Everyone, move out. You heard the lieutenant!" and he started to walk in formation. Looking at his HUD he saw that most of the enemy was near the bridge. Hopefully it wouldn't be too hard taking the bridge since this was the very last on this canyon range. The bridge was defended by who knew how many enemies. Well at least they'd have the support of the other companies on this side of town. And the Army was also making some progress on it's side of the canyon. ARM infantry had no where to go this time unlike the mountain range.
He then heard what Zhour said over the radio. "Don't underestimate them Zhour. We may have then cornered but you can bet they'll put up a much tougher fight for that bridge. They want to keep us from taking it just as badly as we want it. It won't be easy. Keep an eye out for any movement. Godfred please smack him for asking a stupid question."

"Cover cover!" Hobbar shouted to the platoon as he heard the sound of rifles firing near bye. They had almost come to the end of the street and there were buildings on the right and the left of the platoon. Hobbar quickly ran into the right building fast, the door was open and had snow on the ground as he went inside. The room that he was inside was enormous with windows facing the south towards the canyon. There were no other doors inside the building, large metal beams held up the roof, there was a door on the far side of the room that was closed. The platoon ran into the building as the gunfire became more intenense. Looking at the ouside he saw that from where he was he could see the entire trench. The bastards had put up barbed wire around the entire trench and were behind sandbags as well. The sandbags were in front of the trench giving them good cover. He couldn't count how many troops there were in there but there was a lot of them.
He did notice that at they didn't have any machine guns set up, only what they had in their hands. Looking at his HUD he saw that other platoons were taking cover inside buildings. 1st platoon was in a building across the street left of him. 3rd and 4th platoons were in two buildings to his north west. Mike and Lima also had buildings occupied. All the buildings facing the trench were occupied by the companies' now all they had to do was to clear the trench. "Platoon go to the next level and see if we can get a better angle from up there.
In front of them between the buildings and the trench was a large clearing of white snow that was still falling. No trees or rocks, cars for cover. It was open ground and both sides knew it. "Vinigan, get on the horn and request some air support, I think we'll-" he said before he heard an explosion. Turning his head, he saw a rocket had impacted the other side of the bank and sighted a sparrow in the air from the other side of the canyon. It was also firing it's machine gun. "Get some air support now Vinigan!"

Running up the stairs, Silva wondered what this building once was. It was very old that was for sure, the stairs had signs of severe decay, some of the steps had fallen apart complety. He hopped over the one step and then did the same with the other three. Reaching the top floor it was very large, in front of him was another large set of windows, some were broken. To his left was a door that looked like it was locked because of the red light up above it. To his right the floor continued and had another stair case at the end of it. This builiding was possibly never completed from the looks of it. For that matter the entire town looked like it was incomplete with only the bare minimum being built and they were just shells. It made no sense to him but that was the farthest from his mind.
With the second floor secure except for the locked room he said into the mic for only 1st squad. With that he ran over towards the window. Half way there he crouched and slowly walked up towards the series of windows so he could see what was going on outside. Upon reaching the window, he looked outside and saw a large trench with lots of enemy infantry in the trench. The area around them was only snow, there were no trees, rocks or anything. It was probably the main reasons all the companies occupied buildings for cover. The trench had at least four machine gun posistions from what he could tell. There were also lots of riflemen down there, and some were pinned down by the returning fire the companies were giving them. Crouching the wall for cover, he aimed his rifle at one of the machine gunners. Firing off five rounds he saw that one of his bullets missed hitting a rifleman next to him in the torso. Two bullets hit one of the enemy troops feeding the belt who went down. The last bullet missed kicking up snow. He fired again, and aimed even more carefully, firing five rounds again slowly. The bullets hit the machine gunner who fell back into the trench. Rounds started to hit the building and pecks of dust went everywhere he got down. "Dammit." he said to himself as more rounds hit the building.

Now that the building was declared to be clear by the lieutenant, he told everyone to get onto the second floor and get a better shot at the enemy in the trench. Following the small sergeant, he wondered how anyone could live in these kind of conditions. The buildings were barely even built and have only the most basic things. There was not that much of furniture to speak of but then again who was he to judge a terrorist organization that killed innocent civilians. Christopher wondered why Sneer actually started the group, all he knew was that the ARM hated Human Corporation. And Sneer never told anyone exactly why he hated Human Corporation. There were other non violent groups that didn't like Human Corporation and every now and then peacefully protested in London. And it never amounted to anything, it was always the same. The speaker would agree with the people and then forget about it. But with the current recession going on for the past 5 years now. Human Corporation lied about it's medical advances and lots of people invested (they could only choose between Human Corporation stocks in other areas such as the agriculture industry and other sectors of the economy, but every stock was owned by the Corporation)
And when those advances began to fall flat on their faces, people pulled money out of the medical industry. Which then created a domino effect across the entire economy. And people began to worry more about employment instead of how nasty Human Corporation was as a monopoly. That's what he could remember from the ISN reports. Reed hated politics and only would listen if it effected him, other then that he could care less.
Following Silva closely, he made sure to get into cover when he could. Standing next to the window but not under the window he looked out. He saw that there were a lot of enemies down there. His visor quickly highlighted the most dangerous of the enemy. There was a Number 1 next to the four people manning the machine guns. There was a number 2 next to riflemen who were scattered throughout the trench. A number 3 next to the people who helped feed the machine gun and a number 4 that was for enemies across the river. Like he really cared for the enemies over there!
Getting into a firing stance, he broke the glass. It shattered with the butt of his rifle. And aimed for some of the riflemen. Everyone would probably try and target the machine gunners, but the riflemen were also a grave threat. Aiming for one who was standing up, he fired off fourteen rounds. He had the assault rifle on full auto. The rounds hit the area in the trench. Four rounds hit the rifleman he was intending to hit. Five other rounds went into the snow. Three of the rounds hit another rifleman who was standing a little too close. The other round hit someone in the leg. He could not tell who was hit but someone was. And that was all that mattered.
He got behind the wall again and caught his breath before firing off his remaining fifteen rounds left in the magazine. He took a broad aim. Aiming for anyone in the trench, he didn't feel like finding a specific target this time. Firing off in bursts of five rounds, he aimed towards the general direction of three riflemen and a machine gunner. Three of the bullets hit the machine gunner square on who slumped over. Two other bullets hit the snow. He fired off five more rounds towards that group because one of the riflemen was taking the gunner's place. Two rounds hit the rifleman in the chest who also slumped backwards. Two of the other bullets hit the snow. Quickly he shifted his aim towards a rifleman on the far right of the trench. And firing in that direction, the rifleman got into cover because someone else was aiming for him. the bullets missed completely. Standing behind the wall, he got out another magazine

Wei followed the rest of the platoon up the stairs. It was probably better then being here on the ground floor. Because the enemy would have to aim more upwards and that took only a little while longer then just aiming at the ground level. As the Staff Sergeant jumped over a few broken steps, Wei noticed that this staircase wasn't the best. He ran up the stairs but slowly and carefully. When he did finally jump and landed on the other side, some of the material came off and he almost lost his balance. He then arrived on the second floor of the building. When he scanned to see that there was no one else here, he noticed that there was a locked door. Getting next to the door he pulled out a device from his belt to override the locking mechanism.
The device was quite small and had a small screen. He hook up the cable to the button next to the door. The button was supposed to be pushed to open it. It was next to the right of the door and glowing red, as well as the light above the door itself it too was glowing red. He placed the wires into the button's port. There his device flashed to life and a bar slowly filled up as it worked through the security programs to override the door. "Come on, come on." he whispered to himself and got behind the wall as the device was close to overriding the lock. The door chimed and he looked up. He then pushed the button and the door opened. He switched to thermal imaging, because the lights were probably off.
When he looked inside all he saw was constant blue, it was a office of some kind with two chairs and a large desk. On the desk was some kind of computer, probably had enemy intelligence on it. "Lieutenant, the locked door is now opened and it's clear of enemies. I think we might have some kind of intel on this computer here. I'm moving to check it out." He said and said "Lights" the lights turned on and at the same time he turned off his infrared vision. He walked slowly over to the desk making sure there were no booby traps in the room.
Getting to the computer he saw that it was off. He sat in one of the chairs and took off his helmet, realizing how cold it actually was. He shivered only a little and turned on the computer. Waiting for the Windows 1000 to load he looked around the room to see if there was anything else that he could of missed. The desk had no drawers or anything it was just a plain table. Nothing else was present. Finally after three minutes of Windows 1000 loading it came to life and required a password. "Dammit." he whispered to himself and took out the same device that was used before on the door. He placed that device on one of the ports. It quickly overran the password security system. Once that was done he had a screen of three icons, one for the extranet, one for the computer itself and a recycle bin. That was it.
Zhour started to hack into the computer system....

Hobbar fired his assault rifle at the enemy machine gunner in the trench who returned fire immediately. The numbers of the enemy gunmen in the trench was severely depleted. Under constant fire by multiple troopers in different buildings it became harder and harder to concentrate on only one building. Each time the enemy focused fire on one building, the other buildings in the surrounding area would fire in return. Which then made the enemy switch to the other buildings. But there were still at least ten enemy combatants in the trench. "Screw it. Vinigan!" Hobbar said as he knelt down.
Vinigan ran over towards Hobbar's position. He grabbed the radioman's arm and turned on the speaker. He got a line to the pilot who most likely hadn't moved. "Over watch, over watch, this is lima 2, repeat this is lima 2. Requesting fire support towards the bridge. We have enemy gunmen dug in in a trench. They are well dug in please assist over."
Zhour finally cracked the final file in the computer that he had been working on for the past five minutes. The file had a skull and crossbones over it. How anti-climatic. Sighing he opened it up. The computer had been a good source of information, it gave the layout of near by bases in the area, locations and personal. But when he tried to find any information about the town he didn't find anything. The only file left was this...which should contain something. The file opened up to a purple screen , which was odd. Windows 1000 never did that. The screen then showed a skull that laughed with a loud sound. YOU LOOSE CACHET. Were the letters that appeared next. Quickly Zhour hacked into the program again, he either had activated something or the program had been running before he even hacked into the computer.
As the Sparrow gave overhead support to the troopers, the Army had finally broken their own defense across the bridge. Five soldiers had just started to walk over towards the bridge very slowly. The bridge was quite large. It could hold at least 10 people going from one end to the other end. It was littered with snow and a few sandbag emplacements. The soldiers moved up very slowly who were followed by more soldiers. They were also shooting at the ARM troopers in the trench who now were hopelessly fighting to the last man. Suddenly and unexpectedly, a large deafening roar was heard. And if only for a moment, screams were heard across the bridge, which exploded upwards at first and then fell in a cloud of dust. The dust covered the ravine, however debris from what had once been the bridge started to reign over the town. Pieces of metal and other material impacted near by buildings.
The ARM troopers who had somehow survived the shooting with the SDC troopers were killed instantly by the impact of the explosion and the heat. The soldiers who had been on the bridge were gone now, either falling into the ravine or falling from the sky. A piece of someone’s hand fell through the window where 2nd platoon was. Captain Jones immediately told the company to cease fire, because he couldn’t hear what the Battalion Major was trying to tell him over the radio. “All elements of 3rd battalion are to take up defensive positions along the northern section of the town. I repeat all elements of the 3rd battalion are to take up defensive positions along the northern sections of the town. We have a large enemy infantry force coming from the north west. ETA Ten minutes.” Battalion Major Lindbergh said. “Dammit! Ok Kilo listen up we don’t have long before enemy reinforcements reach us. Kilo One I want you to take up defensive positions here.” He said and highlighted buildings in the north west corner. When it came for second platoon to get a position, Jones was straight forward. “Kilo Two, your being positioned here. Get moving lieutenant!” Jones said in a voice that sounded like “Hurry it up dumbass!”
Hobbar quickly looked at his HUD to see where he was being positioned. It was a building in the northwest section. “Alright, everyone get to the highlighted building as soon as possible. Vaio I recommend you get ready, there’s gonna be a lot of targets for you in a short period of time, get ready.” He said. Hobbar practically started to run down the stairs followed by the Silva. Zhour walked out of the room with a very pale face, he was…..panicked to say the least……………

"Come on Trooper move it!" Jorge heard as he began to run to the defensive positions. He just had come out of the building when he saw Kacie Clarke's platoon getting lots of Ammo from the building right across the street. Her name was highlighted when he looked at her...just as everyone else's name and rank was highlighted when he looked at anyone in the military "Lieutenant... is that a ammo cache?" He asked her, not wanting to bother her. She was standing next to Staff Sergeant Shaun Marvin who was next to her talking. They were in some sort of heated discussion when Silva interrupted. " Yeah it has an entire room full of small arms, Captain Jones is about to announce the ammo caches in the town." she said. "Ok, I'll get some stuff for our platoon."
Three troopers passed him as he walked into the room, which was similar to the room that they'd just come out of. Along the wall were large crates that were quickly being taken. He went to one and opened it up, Assault Rifles were inside...which was nice. But he wanted the ammo not the weapons themselves. Quickly looking around the room he saw other boxes in the corner. Walking over he saw that they were labeled by what kind of ammo there was inside. He grabbed one box that stated it contained 7.62x54mm rounds. Opening it up he saw that there were clips inside ready to go. "Thank you Anonymous Resistance Movement." he said to himself. The box was actually quite large. He grabbed it with both hands and closed it up. Realizing that he'd been late to the position, he placed the box over his shoulder and started to jog towards the building that was being set up.
He wasn't too far away before he caught up and saw the platoon running to the position. "Reed!" he said over the intercom, Reed stopped running and turned around. "Go back to our old position, across the street there's a ammo cache, get whatever ammo you can. I got 7.62x54mm rounds with clips in here. Go and try to get 7.62×51mm, and rounds for your shotgun. I'll be back to get more when I can." With that, Reed took off in the opposite direction.
Following the platoon to the specified building, Silva placed the box on a table in what looked like a run down factory. It had only one large room with a catwalk going around the entire floor...that would serve as a excellent vantage point. The middle of the factory had machinery that mother nature had practically destroyed. Old machines from at least a decade ago lay broken...the factory must of been for steel work because many of the machines inside here were furnaces. The technique of making steel hadn't chanced, except for the technology. Walking up to Hobbar he said . "Lieutenant, I sent Reed to get us some extra ammo. I found stuff for the Carbines. I'll make another trip and get some stuff for the assault rifles."
"Good job Silva get some more ammo if you can. Alright, I want overlapping fields of fire. Zhour, place any mines around the doorway. I want riflemen along the catwalks facing the northwest and north east. Do it." he said in a loud voice.

John gave top cover to the soldier underneath him, while copilot, Axel was firing the chaingun almost without interruptions. He shot a rocket at the trench which blew up with a huge bang. As the army men broke trough the enemy defenses, and began moving over the bridge, it went up. John had to make evasive maneuvers in order to avoid getting caught in the blast. As the drop troopers moved back to their previous location, so did John. He was flying towards it when an alarm went off. His plane was locked onto by a surface to air missile.
As he took evasive maneuvers and moved away, the missile was launched. John dropped his flares, and the missile barely missed him. Axel engaged the rocket trooper, and succeeded. He would not bother John again.
"Uhm, Lima two, this overwatch, we are running low on ammo and fuel. I figure we have time and ammo for one more run before we have to go back to the Dauntless to re arm and refuel, break. Give us a target, over"

"Overwatch, this is Lima 2. Negative on incoming targets at this time, recommend you refuel and rearm." Hobbar said into the comm link with the pilot. It was true, he didn't know of any enemy positions except that they were coming from the north west. If he had any targets he'd tell him. With that out of the way, Hobbar checked his plan again on his HUD. Zhour would place ZE-5 mines that were probably one of the best that one could get. ZE-5 mines were smart mines that could detect friendly and non friendly signals coming from a trooper or soldier's suit via IFF tag that each suit had on it. That wasn't to say that it was foolproof. Sometimes a ZE-5 mine would explode because it had something wrong in it's chip that read the IFF signal, or vice versa. The main point was that friendly units could walk past them without getting killed...most of the time that was.
He looked at his watch, they had eight minutes until the enemy infantry would get here. Checking his rifle he made sure that it had a full clip. It didn't so he ejected the magazine and walked over to where Silva had placed a large box of magazines. "Get loaded while you can people, don't want to be without ammo during the firefight." he said over the platoon intercom. He was wondering exactly how the enemy would attack. From the reports that he got and they were only so brief the Major told everyone to get to the northern section of the town but that the enemy was coming from the northwest. It'd make more sense to place people along the western and northwestern approaches. But he wasn't the major, if he said Hobbar had to jump he'd ask the major how high. Or maybe that was just the beginning force and there were more enemy infantry coming from the general direction of the north. Either way, he'd make damn sure that this area would be ready. Hobbar gave Zhour a map of where he wanted the mines placed. Quickly looking over the facility there were three ways inside. Two side doors and one large garage like door. The two side doors would each have one mine near them. While the Garage like door would also have one of the mines. The other two mines would be placed in different areas. One of the mines would be just at the start of the road outside running parallel to the building. It'd be in the middle of the road. The other mine would be on the other side of the building covering the corner between the garage and the doorway. The other mine on the street covered the other door and the garage.
He was expecting this force to be very large. Michael didn't know what else was going on in the rest of the area. But it'd probably take the Army a few hours to get the bridge fixed. And the Landing Zone should be busy with activity from SDC personal landing and vehicles moving towards other targets in the area. He didn't know so this was all assumption. For all he knew the entire force had walked into a well placed ambush. Michael walked around the factory floor to get a better understanding of what was layed out. there were three rows of furnaces, all extremely large. The garage door was currently closed, and he preferred that it stay closed, it was on the side of the factory that was facing where the road went into the town. The other end of the factory was a large office or what had at one time been an office, the room was vacant, with only a few chairs and what had been a computer console around the room. It was off line. Then there was the catwalk, it was rusty and at some places brittle but it was holding his people.
He quickly went over his plan of defense in his head again

Zhour dug this hole as fast as he could. On his HUD it was counting down till the enemy was supposed to arrive...and he only had six minutes left. Not only that but so far he'd only gotten two of the ZE-5 mines in place. The one in the road and then right in front of the garage. He was placing this one in the corner where the lieutenant wanted it. A good place for it too. The outside of the factory was at the outskirts of down, and facing him was a hill a few hundred yards away. An Open killing ground no doubt. At least he had two of them buried.
As he dug the hole for the third one, he couldn't help but remember his time during advanced training. The way the SDC worked was to have a person go through basic, then take a test which according to that exam would place a person in a specialized field. The test was physical as well as mental. Some how Wei ended up in the engineering field but that was only because he was so good at math and electronics. It was during a drill when he and another training engineer were dismantling a makeshift explosive from a door entrance that had wire. Wei had the job of actually taking the bomb apart while his buddy was supposed to disable the mechanism from activating the bomb.
He had almost gotten done taking the bomb apart but his partner had accidentally dropped the device...which then caused it to explode. Although the bomb was not real and no one was hurt, the training instructor was furious at both of them. From that moment on, Wei made it his mission to never have planting or dismantling a bomb, mine, explosive of any kind routine. He was very careful and slow. The hole was now deep enough to plant the mine inside. Looking at his HUD, he realized that he only had four minutes left. Taking off his pack he grabbed the mine. It was a silver orb that was the size of a person's hand. Placing it carefully in the hole he then turned it on. A green light indicated that it had been set, and he then covered it with snow.
Once it was buried he ran over to one of the doors where Hobbar wanted it to be placed. He got to the spot and looked at his HUD once more. Five minutes remained. He had to finish laying the mines or else the lieutenant's plan would fall apart. He put the tool into the ground and started to dig as fast as he could. Bits of snow and melted mud were flying from how fast he was trying to dig the hole so the mine could be concealed from the enemy. "Come on, come on!" he said to himself as he saw that he had four minutes left before the enemy was supposed to arrive.
