Frame: Michael Hobbar is of Anglo-Saxon decent. Michael has long arms (in comparison to his height), a 5'10 wingspan and has size 10 feet. Huy stands 5 feet and 9 inches tall, and weighs about 160 pounds, making him lighter than most. Due to his size, his is one of the more agile than most of his squad mates which helps him get into vantage points that his team, his force and often other units cannot, thus giving his team a big advantage in the field. Also, because of his weight, Michael has exceptionally stronger upper body strength because he simply has less to have to lift up.
Michael his eyelashes are longer than what most guys would want, but are the envy of every girl in his school. Huy has long fingers, about 7 inches long, longer than most people that he knows, and also it makes it hard for him to find gloves that are long enough, but are also snug against his skin. Years of braces has straightened his teeth to be almost perfect. He has small ears, but because he played violin and piano as a kid, has honed them to be useful assets. Michael has good strong abs from swimming and has pretty strong arms, though they are quite skinny. Michael's thighs and calves are especially strong and toned from his swimming careers.
Personality: Michael is easy to get along with, good with following and giving orders if need be, have a hard time trusting people unless they are friends or people I know very well. Good personality and try to stay out of trouble for the most part. Michael cares for his friends and will do everything to protect them. He is a bit forgetting at times due to his rather short attention span.
Michael likes to associate with those who are smart, or has skills, often taking them to his advantage. He is a good leader and is mostly fair when it comes to keeping the group on task and tasking everyone with a fair amount of duties. He is a bit selfish and lazy and would use his leadership role to his advantage, staying back as others do the hard work, though he works his subordinates effectively and efficiently.
Michael is a quick learner. He can learn something in a matter of minutes (obviously depending on what is being taught. Some tasks take longer to learn.) He also is for the most part, a trial and error self-learner. He would rather do something himself and learn from trying and repeating rather than relying on someone to take him step by step or watch or read tutorials.
In contrast from being easy to get along to, he is also a bit defensive when it comes to his own image. If he feels insulted he will make it known, and especially if he feels that there is insubordination to either himself or to the chain of command.
Michael also have a obvious love for the service, any tarnish in its good name and he will make it known. Referring back to the previous point, if there is insubordination, he will see to it that it dissipates.
In viewing others, he is highly opinionated and judgmental. When he sees someone, he doesn�t immediately form an opinion, but when he makes his mind, it is normally set. Michael has a extreme dislike for people who brag their skills and when asked to perform cannot. He always tries to see the good in people however, but once again, having a set mind makes it hard for him to do so. Michael will not hesitate to voice his opinions and sometimes, that has disastrous effects.
History: Michael was born on 3 March 3333 (Standard Date) on the Outer Colony of Hyarkin. His parents were doctors helping develop new medical advances and techniques. As a child, Michael didn't have any interests on being a doctor, his parents were doctors and were constantly out of the house, but perhaps that's why he ended up joining the military, he never felt a belonging to a family.
Michael did alright in grade school. When he did go to college, he decided to go to the military college. He went to Zanabar and attended the War College and graduated and earned his commission as an Ensign in the UCHD Armed forces. He applied for special forces training for the army and was eventually admitted and sent to the far side of the planet for training. But when he was admitted into the Army, Hobbar wanted to change to the Special Drop Corps. It took nearly a year to get all the paperwork in the right order.
Michael fared average and graduated and was inducted into the Special Drop Corps. He served 2 years in the 2nd Division and earned his place as a well respected leader. During the time serving with 2nd Division he was stationed at Novgrad in the Indra system. His first deployment was on Thallus in the Justin system where ARM cells had attacked local government buildings and the Thallus defense forces could not contain the violence. The eight month campaign of hitting hidden ARM bases and helping to defend cities or bases took it's toll on Hobbar. He became more attached to the people of is platoon but as a result it hurt personally whenever one of his people was killed. Eventually the ARM was disbanded on the planet and cleared.
After serving for 2 years as a 2nd lieutenant he signed up again and this time was stationed at Hadamarad in Seldon with the 17th SDC division. The 2nd Divison had to be reshuffled from it's actions at Thallus. The 17th Division was a good place for Hobbar and during his deployment he was given the rank of 1st lieutenant when the 17th Division helped to subdue the Sons of Seldon terrorist organization whom were attacking multiple factories and foundries across Hadamarad. During one operation to take back a foundry, Hobbar's platoon was sent to a area of the foundry that was more heavily defended. Trying to get communications to contact the rest of the Company was a challenge, and Hobbar did everything he could to inform the Captain that the area was heavier defended then they had thought. The platoon had to hold up in a low laying building while waiting for reinforcements. The Company had arrived but were unable to advance because the terrorists had the area laid out as a well good killzone.
Hobbar's platoon was able to hold onto their captured position and gave more units time to arrive in their area. During the end of the battle, Hobbar's platoon helped to take a communications room for the area the terrorists were in. The SDC and Army helped to take out multiple places that had large concentratins of the Sons of Seldon. In 3357 he was then transferred to 4th Division at Stataca
