Stephanie woke up to realize she was restrained. That was just fan freaking tastic who in the planetary system ordered that? They were so going to pay, she would make sure of that. The woman tried to sit up and couldn't realizing she was tied down sent her into a panicked state of mind. The woman started pulling. "You are going to hurt yourself?" the woman said softly. "Now please sergeant stop" she informed her. "Ne me dokosvaĭte. Neka ."
[/b] Do not touch me. Let me up. Bulgarian flew from her lips. Bulgarian only fled from her lips when she was extremely irrational and pretty much lost her self control. This was a semi-traumatic relapse perhaps after hitting her head. "I want to run a CT scan." she mumbled to herself as she docked up her chart. Sighing the woman shook her head and tried to focus back on her work. The woman didn't approve of tying people up but until she talked to Hobbar she wasn't about to let this woman loose so she could hurt anymore people. This was just something She was going to have to get over. Stephanie was struggling. The woman came over and the closer she got the more Stephanie struggled. This was going to be a long shift. Walking towards the medical bay of the starship, Hobbar noticed many people outside in the hallway of the medical bay walking inside and outside. He started to walk inside the medical bay and saw a large desk with multiple people behind it. He saw many lines of people going towards the desk. the room was very large, and there were many rooms on either side of him, but this desk was for everyone to come and see where people were.
As he moved forward, he shook his head. What did the nurse do to upset Amberson? Well then again he'd never known anyone that actually had helped her. Except maybe her spotter but that was on mission if she was wounded or needed help to find a target. He didn't know her that well though so maybe she didn't like people who were new to her. He laughed a little when he remembered how she showed up to see him all covered in snow and dirt from the last mission. After finally reaching the nurse he remembered why he was there in the first place. "Where are you keeping Sergeant Amberson?" he asked. "Ah, she is in room fifteen. Next!" the nurse said.
Walking to the room he passed by some other rooms that had people who had suffered battlefield wounds. He looked into one room, one person had their eye shot out. He shook his head and knocked on the door. He saw that Amberson was held down against her will with straps. The nurse was trying to go to Amberson. "It would really help if you didn't have her on restraints, she get's very upset if you try to restrain her. Take them off. Now." he said in a commanding voice. The nurse went over and pushed a button to release the straps that were on Amberson. He noticed also that she wasn't speaking English but some sort of Slavic language. No doubt probably from Bulgaria, he didn't know the language but he did read body language and she as very confused about where she was.

When Stephanie heard Hobbar's voice she froze. Oh great, just who she didn't want to see. Well he had let her go out of her restraints and she rubbed at her wrists and laid back closing her eyes. But that wasn't Hobbar standing there. At least not from her point of view. "Private Hunter.." she fumbled out. Pvt. Hunter was listed among the dead in her former post during Bulgaria. The woman kept rubbing at her wrists. That was when the nurse spoke. "I am ordering some CT Scans and a psychologist. She's been going on and on about how I am some sort of enemy combatant. I think she hit her head hard Lt." she said softly as he entered.
Stephanie calmed down some but she was still visibly agitated. With her it was easy to tell when she was agitated it was because she was always agitated.
"Amberson get down" she heard from behind her. "Get down!"That was about the time the bomb went off in the bunker. Not everyone had gotten out there were 3 of them. Hunter had never made it out of the bunker. He had run into warn them. Amberson had gotten out with 2 others but Whitley and Rhahmstine were in no condition to finish what had been started. There was no radio communication and Stephanie was lucky she hadn't been taken as a POW. From her position she watched the enemy comb through the remains of the camp. The woman waited until the middle of the night to head out. Not the safest but daylight wouldn't have been safe either. Lucky for her another group of forces had heard of the explosion and were headed over to check for survivors running into her. She was in a medical facility but she was alive.
The gunshot wound she had sustained prior to the explosion rang with pain even this many years later. It always did when she got injured, some sort of pain memory response. Struggling hadn't helped. The woman rubbed at the spot on her shoulder. It was going to hurt for a while but Stephanie just bit at her lip and realized she could just grin and bear the pain for a while. Nothing unusual. Another day of pain. So what.

Walking foreword, Michael noticed that Amberson had thought that he must be someone else. He wasn't whoever Hunter had once been. As he walked foreword, the nurse said that she would need to see a psychologist. Well that would probably take forever and a day. He didn't want her to see a psychologist, not because he didn't think she needed to, oh she needed to see one. But because it usually involved at least twice a week to see the shrink and then therapy would commence for months. Figuring that he was almost always with her. He wasn't a shrink but he did have a good idea of how she thought.
The captain might agree to it, if he could see it from Hobbar's point of view though. And the captain would usually agree to something that Hobbar requested...next to that god awful lieutenant Franks any day of the week. "Seeing a shrink will help her. But it'll take too long with the appointments and how long he or she needs to see Amberson. I'll discuss it with the captain about what can be done." he knew that if he could just say the right words to the captain then he would agree to this. Besides, Hobbar needed his sniper.

The woman nodded. "Alright Sir if you insist" she pointed out as she left to go schedule an appointment. With that she was gone from the room and Stephanie crossed her arms and took a breathe. "Im fine Hunter. The last thing I need to see is a shrink"
[/b] she pointed out flatly. The woman rolled her head over and sighed. Stephanie hated feeling weak and that is just how how she was feeling so she was hiding it. There was a short and snorty type sigh emitted from the woman. It was usual for her to be disgruntled. The gentleness was gone from her, this is what the world had done to her. Honestly, Stephanie somewhere had a kind heart, one that just kept callousing over in response to everything around her. Nothing was kind. The military was not kind, her childhood had not been kind. Bulgaria hadn't been kind. Whoever crashed the fecking ship was not kind. Stephanie was smuding reality with what wasn't real. She knew the date and the time, and even where she was; but things weren't all the same. Hobbar was a private who gave his life saving her and her head was pounding. This was not where she wanted to be. Stephanie usually hated hospitals and was the first to rip IV's out. She had several times in the past. It was on her record, and anyone who had read it would know that her and medical bays simply did not mix. Then came another almost sneer and distasteful grumble at the fact she was in the medical center. [/blockquote]

As he walked closer, he noticed that the nurse hadn't put any IV's in her arm or wrists. He grabbed a chair and sat down next to her. Sighing , he knew it was going to be a long day, and they'd all been up since 0430 this morning, then that mission at 0500 which had finally concluded almost forty five minutes ago. It was now 1045 hours and he was physically exhausted, as well as emotionally exhausted. But one of his troopers needed his attention and he would gladly give it to her.
He knew that she had saved everyone's ass taking out the sniper, not to mention other gunmen that he hadn't seen. Hobbar knew that it was also pointless to try and fight with her, it wasn't good if she got upset at him. So instead of saying he wasn't Hunter he decided to go along with it, it would of been pointless trying to tell her that he was not Hunter. "Amberson." he began.
"I'm not really going to send you to a shrink because that would be pointless, they always say that they need more time to fix you. Instead of sending you to a real shrink, and probably cost you more time with him, I'm going to ask for permission to see if they can use me instead. It won't be fancy or anything but I'll do my best. Also I-" but stopped when he figured out what he was about to tell her. He was going to tell her about what her punishment should be, however that was no longer a good idea to tell her she was going to be punished. She still thought that he was Hunter. "Also...I hope to see you better soon."

Right, wait what? Okay rewind tape. He was offering to get rid of her shrink but she had to deal with him. Did he realize she punched out shrinks? Did he actually think he could get her to open up. Ha. That was entirely laughable. She let out a soft snicker. "Private you know NOTHING about me"
[/b] There had been emphasis placed on the word nothing. The woman shook her head and then noticed his uniform. Why was Hunter wearing officer issued clothing? Well it would be just like him to raid an officer's stateroom. "A Lt's room Hunter.. pft one would think you can do better" she snickered. She had obviously been opened slightly to this Hunter person because she spoke to him. Stephanie when she wasn't so closed off was the instigator in most everything, but she had to trust people and Hobbar wasn't exactly in that little ring yet. Lucky for him at the moment she thought that he was Hunter, so she was actually opening up and talking to him for a little while. There was nothing better to do. Then again she had known Hunter before Bulgaria. [/blockquote]

He laughed a little when she said he could do better. "Oh I could of tried to get a captain's uniform but that required killing too many guards , and this guy wasn't as easily guarded. Besides haven't you heard? Lieutenants are easy to steal from." he said smiling...which was not true. He remembered once Franks had tried to steal Hobbar's grandfather watch, and Hobbar punched Franks right in the face, breaking his nose. "It's been one of those long day's hasn't it Amberson? Having a mission that seemed to go well and then it always bites you in the ass. Well." he said.
" Hey have you heard the latest rumor about the Admiral leading this attack on the planet? Rumor has it and it's just a rumor that he was once married to the Secretary of the Navy." he said, trying to get her mind off of the place she was currently in. "Man, just imagine that. Being married to that kind of a person with that much power. It wouldn't really help if you wanted to watch something and she could always say that you'd better not change the channel or she'd drop your pay. Anyways." he said to her. He was trying to get her mind off of the medical bay an onto something else...anything would do.

Stephanie raised a brow uncertain what he was talking about she just snickered a short laugh under her breathe, but she wasn't much of the talkative type, even when she was open up but at least she wasn't lashing down his throat or wanting to kill him for now.. "You going to help me bust out of here before the platoon leader gets back and hands me my ass for stupidity?"
[/b] she was referring to her mistakes on the field in Bulgaria. The last thing she needed was Hobbar finding those mistakes in her records. What had happened was no secret to her personnel profile. Stephanie hadn't said much else she just wanted out of there he we started talking. "I just have to stay awake 24 hours they keep telling me I hit my head.."[/b] She needed sleep. Maybe they meant 24 hours when she had hit her head? Who knew? That could make only 19 hours to go or so. Whatever it was she just wanted to sleep and she felt her eyelids closing. She batted them open once but tried to keep herself from falling asleep what if something happened? [/blockquote]

Hobbar shook his head. "No can do ma'am. I can't let you out of here. I will talk to them and see if anything can be done for you. Besides it's not as if you'll really be in any trouble with the brass." he said. "I don't think it'll be that difficult to stay up , just keep your mind on something that you like to do." he told her. Getting up out of the chair he decided that she probably did need some alone time. "You'll do fine ma'am. Don't worry." he said to her. He didn't really know what to do in this position.
If she did in fact recognize him as Hobbar then he'd ask her why she had punched out the orderly. But he wasn't Hobbar to her. Except he was. He was confused as to how she perceived him currently. It was all so confusing! "Have a good day ma'am" he told her. Leaving the room he walked out and started to think about what the captain would think. There was no way she would agree to seeing a normal shrink but it'd be better for her to see him. He'd have a better time trying to deal with it then a total stranger.
