Article 1:GENERAL RULES


Section 1. There will be respect to all players of this board. We all come from different backgrounds, race, gender, faith and sexual orientation. The purpose of any forum RPG is to have fun. Any transgressors will be swiftly punished.

Section 2. Cussing is acceptable on this RPG. Keep in mind, some people are more sensitive so try to keep cussing to a minimum.

Section 3. Please remember that you are role-playing as a military infantryman. Death and loss of friends and, at times, your own life is a very real concept but we will ensure it that we ask for your permission to kill your character, we will NOT kill your character if you do not wish to stop RPing as that character. If your character is facing a situation we all know and you know he/she may not survive and you still wish to RP as the said character you'll have to settle with your character being critically wounded, and be out of action for at least ONE mission. Secondly if you are gone for more than 6 months without notice and your character is in combat situation/mission then that said character will die as the staff will see this as you no longer wish to RP as said character and do not wish to keep your character. Finally, remember to keep a wall of separation between yourself as a person and that of your character. Please see Amendment 1 on killing of characters.

Section 4. Do not spam posts or flame others. This ties into respecting everyone that visits or uses this role-playing game. If you post, wait for at least two others to post before you jump back into the frenzy.

Section 5. Do not, and I say again, do NOT plagiarize another person on this role-playing game. If you are going to use or take the work of another person, give them credit where the credit is due.

Article 2: RULES OF CHARACTER CREATION


Section 1. Upon acceptance of your character, you are required to make an in character post within the first ninety-six hours. Failure to do so will result in account deletion. We want an active player base, not a bunch of inactive characters lollygagging about.

Section 2. Do not complain about the rank, MOS, or billet you are assigned. I understand what your desires were and truthfully I apologize that we could not grant you what you had desired. We will put you where we need you as opposed to where you want to be placed.

Section 3. In the creation of a sniper character, also create a short bio for an NPC spotter character. The same is true on the review, i.e. if you create a spotter character, also create a sniper NPC character. The bio does not have to be as in depth, but we would like it if you at least include a short description of their personality, their physical appearance and a short, but pertinent history.

Article 3: ACCOUNT RULES

Section 1. Please have your account be your character's name. I.E: Michael Hobbar

Section 2. One account per character. this makes it easier for us to see who you're currently RPing as.

Amendment 1. A player has the right to the forewarning that their character has been chosen to be hurt. A week before killing a character, the owner of that character shall be contacted. If no response comes from the owner of that character than they will be killed. Players who are have been absent for six months or more will be contacted if their character is chosen to be killed. IF and only if a member has decided to quit the board than this does not apply to them. A player can request if he does not wish his character to die can be wounded severely. However a owner can make a new character before the old one is killed off , as to have a replacement. One week later that said character will be killed with permission from the owner.

Amendment 2. A player may have as many characters as they so wish so long as they can actively play all of them.

Amendment 3. If a player has any problems with the staff, they have the right to PM any of the other staff members of their grievances or PM that staff member directly without fear of punishment at that time or in the future.

Amendment 4. This RP is ADMIN driven. Meaning: Admins will control major events such as major attacks, control kills and at times, PC casualties; No PC fatalities.

Article 1: On Mission

Section 1: While posting on mission, players will not create ridiculous amounts of enemy forces; admins control the number of enemy forces.

Section 2: Players will not spawn special equipment including, but not limited to: "super" weapons, vehicles, medical supplies, ammunition, intel without admin permission.

Section 3: Admins will post the mission outlines, objectives and details prior to the mission, Squad Leaders (or appropriate levels of leadership) will assume command of the mission.

Section 3.1: Admins will post periodic mission updates in the form of an "Admin Post"

Section 4: The minimum post length should be no shorter than 200 words. There are days when we all do have writers blocks and it is understandable, each player is allowed ONE post that is below the minimum post requirement in each mission.

Article 2: Off Mission

Section 1: There is no post length minimum/maximum on off mission threads, but do try to refrain from posting one liners.

Section 2: Players may create as many and what ever threads they want, so long as the threads make sense for the situation, if anything is questionable, DO NOT start a thread.

Section 2.1: If an admin deems your thread violates T.O.S. or any of the established rules, we reserve the right to delete your thread.

Section 2.1.1: A player has the right to warning if said circumstance was to occur.

Article 3: Liquid Time

Although there is an established plot and storyline, we do allow for liquid storyline role playing.

Section 1: Liquid time may only occur for off mission threads.

Section 1.1: Liquid time threads may be past or future events.

Section 1.1.1: If a thread occurs in the past, the character may not disclose information learned in the "present" or "future" day threads.

Section 1.1.2: If a thread occurs in the future, the player cannot include major details of the past, i.e. the character may not be home on leave after a mission that has not been completed with medals of valor if they had not up to that point earned it in the main mission.

Section 1.2: Liquid time threads may not interfere with main storyline plots.
