The Sparrow cut through space like a bird dodging little debris that was around it. It's target was the shuttle landing bays of the Dauntless Fury. It was only a handful of about four other Sparrows returning. Most Sparrows and other landing craft similar to it were heading towards the planet, no less taking more territory away from ARM.
The craft approached one of the many landing bays, slowing down long enough to fit into the compartment. It flew gracelessly through zero gravity as it's jets accelerated upwards. A long arm caught the craft locking onto it. It slowly went inside the compartment before the large doors slammed shut below it. Another pair of doors opened, and the craft slowly went up before it too closed. There were three doors, one that was facing space, the middle door were designed in case one of the lower or upper doors had been breached. Passing through the middle doors, the final pair of doors opened. The metallic arm continued to hold the craft until it finally stopped. The final doors closed and the Sparrow was very gently placed onto the deck of the hanger bay.
The Sparrow's ramp opened and the platoon filed out. Hobbar one of the first out got out and announced. "Alright, we're officially on break I don't know for how long until we get another mission. Wounded go to the infirmary to get checked out first, everyone else, drop off your gear to the armory. After that I don't wanna hear any complaining about how our platoon is a pain in the ass to have on board the Dauntless Fury. Besides we don't want Jones to loose his platoon's spot as number one for being the worst in the company right?" he said and laughed a little. "Amberson when your done in the infirmary, please come see me in my office." Michael then proceeded to take off his helmet. Looking at the platoon one last time, he started to head off towards another part of the ship.
Meanwhile Silva was taken to the infirmary and the worst part was that he always hated going to the place. It was almost always crowded for one reason or another.
