Colonel Wilks looked at his watch. It was nearly half an hour before the drop would commence and no one was here yet. That trio better get here quick or this mission would be called off. Friggen Army can't handle one town from ARM. It's only one town and the Army can't take it without SDC support. But they had limited information to go after, only information on the target to be assisanated. Other then that, they had no intel. Which was why this mission would help to provide that. He had the dossiers in his hand to give them on the assigned target. He eagerly waited for them to arrive.

When John woke up this morning, he found that there was a sheet of paper lying on the desk. It contained orders for him. John was to report to the ready room before one 11 PM and receive further orders. He checked his watch and saw that it was only 9 PM so he took a shower and then got dressed in his flightsuit. He filled his bag with a few cans of red bull and a few things to eat, and then got on his way.
When he got there, he saw a colonel standing there. When he got close, he saluted the man and began to wonder why a colonel would give him orders. Usually flight ops would just do that. "Sir, might I ask why you are giving me orders today, as opposed to normal?"

Stephanie grabbed her bag that was sitting under her bunk and grumbled. It was one of those days. Really, she had spent the last several days being able to sleep in and this was her wake up call after she had gotten an early start on the day today. Amberson did not like being late at all. She narrowed her eyes in the direction of the door. Pulling her feet from the bed she planted them on the ground and rubbed her eyes. The nap had done her well. Considering her report time was 22:45 she needed to get a move on.
She stared at the dark hole in the wall. Right, they didn't trust anyone else to run this mission and the others were too busy getting ready for whatever thing they had to do. She had been left out of the loop on that one. The last people she wanted to deal with were pilots. Dammit she hated anything that flew... but when they nearly almost killed you... you really did think twice about things like that.
She threw a pillow at Vasquez, if he had gone to bed for the night so help him. "You better be awake Corporal" she barked. It didn't take Connor long to hear her voice. "Don't you ever shut up sergeant" he groaned. She kicked the side of his bunk as she passed and he jumped up. Right, she was always an ass and she wasn't going to take no for an answers.
Traveling to the briefing room she bore eyes into the back of Connors head the whole way and he hurried towards the briefing room. Stephanie was not happy to see the Colonel there or the idiot who had crashed the last aircraft she had been on. So help him if he so much as flinched she would be talking to his superior officer. He did not want to mess with the likes of her she would make his life hell. Right, she was supposed to get the mission briefing from the Colonel. She extended her hand expecting him to hand her the papers.

The Corporal moaned at the soft impact of cheap synthetic fluff, his eyes opening to the nagging voice that reminded him very much of his mother. "Do I ever sleep?" he said sarcastically, mostly to himself. He heard the rustling of a bed across the room, it was James and he got up without protesting any sound.
The sniper duo followed the other, keeping a close distance as they approached the briefing room. Entering, James quickly found a seat and rested his head back with his hands supporting it. Alex found a seat two away from him and took the same posture. He watched the hard-ass known by many as Amberson step up to the Colonel. The two waited to be addressed before deciding to speak.

Stephanie looked towards the others as she approached the Colonel for the paperwork. Right... because that went so well. The woman took the paper work from him.
"We launch from the ship at 2245 hours and land at 2258 hours. The landing zone is five miles north of the town Peraia We have the following objectives
1. Go scout out the town and see what kind of force they have. Do they have any special buildings of any kind. If so mark them on the map when you can for intelligence. Try to keep a low profile.
2. You must assassinate the ARM leader Major Hughes. Hughes is 5'11 has brown hair and a small nose. He will be visiting the town in a vehicle convoy (you can put how many vehicles and troops you want there) to see how defensive positions are holding. He will come in the area around 0245, there are three roads that he could possibly take, try to find a area that has a overlook of all three roads. All these roads lead to the town, try to find cover near the town or if at all possible a vacant building but this is not advised.
The sparrow will come back and pick us up to the west, If at all possible try to capture someone from the major's convoy alive."
She was rather direct and to the point.
Crappy post but mreh... its a post

John listened to the sniper girl explaining the situation. The snipers would insert by drop pod, from what he could understand, assassinate the leader of the rebels, and then John would pick them up with the RV-1 Kite, which basically is a faster and more agile, but also smaller craft than the Sparrow. "Alright then. Now, I'm going back to bed." He said, and began walking. When he reached the door he said "Wake me when you need me"
