He hadn't been on the ship for long before he decided to seek out the Company commander, a Todd Jones, after all he couldn't do much before he reported his presence, and he was always glad to get started working idling wasn't the thing he felt like doing most and now he had to settle for a different life which he was looking forward too.
He walked up to the Company Captain stateroom and knocked on the door before taking a deep breath and straightening his uniform. "come in" a voice said from behind the door and Victor decided to enter. Captain Jones seemed a bit surprised and far from happy to see an S.S officer to step in through his door, as most in the military he didn't like the human corporations goons to be anywhere near especially not an Special Investigation and Information kid.
Victor made a short stand at attention before giving the Captain a nod "Lieutenant Victor Reinhardt of the Special Forces, reporting my arrival on the Dauntless Fury, Captain." he said calmly and still with some authority.
Captain Jones measured up the boy and wasn't sure to be glad or sad that the S.S had only send a Junior Officer to keep and eye out on everything they did. "A Liaison Officer I see?" Jones said a bit disgruntled. Victor nodded. "Welcome aboard, Lieutenant. I hope you wont cause trouble while you are here" Jones said.
Victor gave a short smirk "Of cause not Captain. You do know I am here as a Liaison and platoon advisor only... Us in the S.I.I aren't the ones to cause trouble" he said knowing it wasn't all that true and by the looks of it Captain Jones had a lot of experience dealing with S.S guys but he as well as others knew that the law stated he couldn't deny an S.S agent much he would find out in some matter anyways.
"I trust I have been granted access to the files I need about your company and it's personnel?" he asked calmly, "You will get permission to what you need to know" Jones replied although he meant what -he- deemed as a need-to-know for Victor.
Victor stayed silent for a few moments before again asking "Is there anything I need to know? Sir." he asked still sounding calm and polite, or at least formal. "No Lieutenant, Just remember the drop corps aren't the same types as there are in the army, these are tough men, many who have seen battle, and often served longer then you have." Jones stated hoping for Victors reaction to be somewhat ill.
Victor just nodded calmly although it was just an act, he hated to be reminded about his lack of service and lack of battle experience, he had served like everybody else. Victor walked closer to the desk and looked at Jones still sitting down before holding out his hand. Captain Jones then a bit reluctantly handed a small disc containing the permissions and orders needed to get around and to show the different platoon leaders in case they doubted what he was allowed.
"Thank you, sir and may you have a good day. Can't wait to see how your fine company do, I'm sure it's above any standard" he said with a suspicious smirk before getting into a quick attention and Captain Jones giving him a nod "Good Luck, Lieutenant Reinhardt" Captain Jones said, more out of formality then actually hoping for him to have good luck with stirring into the private matters of his company.
Victor gave a short nod "Thank you" he replied before turning around and exiting the room, and he was sure the tension was only growing now Captain Jones knew he had a Special Security Agent breathing down his neck.
